Phaedra On Fire | Athens Epidaurus Festival 2021

Roughly based on Hippolytus by Euripides, Michalopoulou’s play redefined Phaedra and her wish to be loved.

Αt 30 and 31 of July 2021 Phaedra On Fire was staged at the little theater of Ancient Epidaurus, commissioned by the Athens Epidaurus Festival, directed by Yiannis Kalavrianos, a Phaedra who wouldn’t die but who would treat her sexuality as an invitation to life.
